Indian Oil Corp., the nation’s largest refiner, bought 1 million barrels each of Nigerian Qua Iboe and EA crude from Royal Dutch Shell Plc (RDSA) through a tender, according to four people who participate in the market.
The two cargoes will be loaded in the second half of September or October, said the people who declined to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.
Last month, Indian Oil bought a total of 4 million barrels of Nigerian crude for loading from late August to September.
